Nearly everybody loves to root for the underdog.  There’s something inside of all of us that gets inspired when we see the ugly duckling being transformed into a thing of beauty, or when we see our favorite fighter return to his feet after being knocked down in the final round.  God is in the restoration business.  God is the business of comebacks.  Maybe today YOU are that person in need of a comeback – a momentum switch in your relationship, in your health, or finances.  In this final message of our four part series, Pastor Brad will help us understand the final ingredient needed for a comeback to take place: community.

This is the third message in our new Life Talk Series entitled, “POA – Point Of Attack.”  In this message, Pastor Brad looks at the Devil's point of attack on us through the use of "religion." The purpose of this new series is to unlock the doors to a new world of risk taking – one that is alive and active, rather than caged and tamed.  Perhaps you’re feeling a bit lethargic in your spiritual life.  You’re Christian strut has been reduced to a “rut.”  If you’re really honest, there is very little joy left in you.  If this is you, this series will revitalize your faith and bring you into a deeper adventure of what it means to follow Christ.  Who said that Christianity was supposed to be safe and risk free?  Let’s break free!

In this, our final message of this series, Pastor Brad teaches on the parable found in the Gospel of Mark, Chapter four.  Pontius Pilate stood before Jesus and he asked him an epic question, “What is truth?”  How would you answer that question?  How would you define truth from deception?  What if you were to learn that for much of your life, you had been deceived?  What you thought or perceived to be truth, you soon confirmed to be a grand illusion?  The Bible has a lot to share with us about deception and how easily the human heart can be tricked to believe what is false.  Our series, Illusion, has been designed to expose some of the greatest tricks offered to our world, while bringing clarity to Biblical truths.
